Carlson School Waikowhai Intermediate is the host school for a class of Intermediate aged students from Carlson School for Cerebral Palsy.
The Carlson students have their own teaching and learning programme and their own teachers and support staff. They are integrated into buddy reading programmes, school assemblies, art classes and other areas where they can benefit from socialisation with students of a similar age. Waikowhai Intermediate students are offered the opportunity to interact with and assist the Carlson students in the playground or the classroom during intervals and lunchtime. |
