Monday 8 February 2010

  • Joshua Jack rode in the Woodville Grand Prix.  This is a premier event held in New Zealand, next best thing is the New Zealand Nationals.  He came 4th in the Junior 125cc 15-16 year class and 3rd in the under 21 year 125cc class and 5th overall (all ages) National 125cc class.
  • The following students are New Zealand Under 17 boys Softball champions with North Harbour, meaning the best under 17 team in NZ:  Zackary Walker, Zachary Craigie, Bronson Pitman.
  • Results from the Junior Surf Life Saving Auckland Champs  – Briar McLeely, 3 gold, 1 silver, Amanda Barnao, 1 gold, 3 silver, Rhiannon Ryan, 1 silver, Xavier Rice, 3 silver, Max Marshall, 1 silver, Jordan Downey, 2 bronze, Jack Lloyd, 1 bronze.  Briary McLeely was selected for the Under 14 Inter-district Northern Region Surf Life Saving team.
  • Alexandra McAlwee has been accepted in to the LAMDA Summer Drama School.   LAMDA is a London drama school of the highest calibre. Entry is highly competitive with applications for entry from all around the world.  Alex will also be attending the 8 day drama school run in Havelock North in April.

  • Danielle Quigley won the U19 Beach Volleyball champs and was named overall Player of the National tournament.
